God’s Faithfulness: A Promise You Can Trust
In a world that is consistently changing and throwing different challenges and difficulties at us, there’s one thing that remains steadfast and unchanging: God’s faithfulness. The Bible for sure is all about His continued and unending faithfulness from Genesis to Revelation. Filled with countless examples of His unwavering commitment to His beloved people. For His promises to fail means that God can change. His promises have never failed, and they never will.
What Is God’s Faithfulness?
Regardless of the circumstances and events that surround your birth, God gave you life at that moment, so that was the right time for you to be born. Faithfulness is a defining attribute of God. It means that He is trustworthy, reliable, and steadfast in His love and promises. It means He is unable to change in Lamentations 3:22-23; we are reminded:
“The Lord’s lovingkindness indeed never ceases, for His compassion never fail They are new every morning; Great is His Faithfulness.”
God’s faithfulness is not dependent on what we do or think, or said or how we action towards Him or some other person or in a circumstances. It is rooted in His perfect nature. He is faithful because it is who He is, not because of what we do.
Our Master and Lord and Savior the Lord Jesus Christ is the ultimate demonstration of God’s faithfulness. He fulfilled the promises of a Savior, came to earth, walk on this earth, humble Himself to be crucified by the very people He came to save, His own creation and providing a way for humanity to be reconciled with God. Through His life, death, and resurrection, we see the fullness of God’s unwavering love.
How We Experience God’s Faithfulness Today
God’s faithfulness is not just a historical fact; it’s a present reality.
